Customer portal

Your board, facing outward.

The portal is part of Marula Flow, not a product standing beside it. It works precisely because the same order, the same prices and the same stock sit underneath both sides of the screen.

Their side

Everything they would otherwise phone you about.

One customer, one week, one order. Pick a day to see what they do without you.

Mon · Northvale Trading, in Karoo Packaging’s portal.

Every screen above carries Karoo Packaging's name, not ours. Your logo, your colours, your domain. To your customers this is your ordering system, and Marula Flow's name appears nowhere they look.

Two vocabularies

You work six states. Your customer sees four words.

Your board is built for people who move stock. Nobody outside the business needs to know what Capture means, or that it exists. So the same order describes itself differently depending on who is looking at it.

ReadyPreparing · RunDispatching · OutOn the way · Review · Capture · DoneDelivered

Delivered is delivered. Whether an order is still waiting on its invoice number is your problem to solve, not something to explain to the person who received the goods.

Your side

The point is what it removes.

A portal that creates a second inbox to check is worse than no portal. This one puts work on the board you already watch.

Orders arrive priced
A portal order lands in Ready already priced on that customer's list. There is no re-keying step and no "what did we charge them last time".
Quote requests queue up
A requested quote shows on your board as work waiting, not as an email somebody has to remember.
The phone goes quiet
Order status, past invoices and PODs are answers the customer can get without you.
You can stand in their shoes
Staff can preview the portal as a specific customer to see exactly what they see before you pick up the phone.

Control

Your domain, your customers, your call.

Your domain

The portal runs on your own hostname, not ours, carrying your branding. To your customer it is your system, because it is. White-label, if you want the word for it.

A login per person

Each contact at a customer gets their own login, and any one of them can be switched off the day they leave.

Scoped to one customer

A login sees that customer's orders, prices and documents. Nothing else exists as far as the portal is concerned.

Turn it on per customer

Roll it out to the ten customers who order every week before you offer it to the ones who order twice a year.

The portal is a feature of Marula Flow and is not sold on its own — it has nothing to stand on without the board, the pricing and the stock behind it.

Next step

Name the customer who orders every week.

That is the one to start with. We'll show you the portal with their kind of products and their kind of prices in it.
